The Summit School held its annual gala on Friday, April 1st, at Unity Hall, Holy Family Church in Davidsonville.
This year's event, Dancing for the Stars, was a roaring good time and a tremendous success for the school. The roaring '20s themed event included live music, casino games, live auction, raffles, and food from 20 local restaurants and caterers. Net proceeds exceeded $150,000, including $28,600 to upgrade the school's performing arts stage.
It is through the support of parents, grandparents, friends, and the local community that The Summit School is able to provide the best in education for ight students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
