More than 100 people attended the Festival of Trees Preview Party, held at the Tidewater Inn in Easton.
As the kick-off to the annual Festival of Trees, the Preview Party offered attendees a first look at the beautifully decorated Christmas trees that covered almost every inch of the Gold Room. While sipping a complimentary drink or enjoying some heavy hors d'oeuvres, guests were given the opportunity to purchase the mini trees on display.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Talbot Hospice Foundation, which provides support to those facing life's final journey and their families. In 2014, Friends of Hospice donated $50,000 to the foundation through other events, including the Drag Race, Homes Tour, and Daddy-Daughter/Mother-Son dances. Over the past 28 years, Friends of Hospice has donated about $2.7 million to the foundation.
