Lighthouse Christian Academy hosted its 15th annual live and silent auction, The Great Gatsby Gala, on Saturday, March 12th, at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville.
More than 120 guests attended, many of whom enjoyed dressing for the theme and festivities. The event raised more than $50,000 for the Classical Christian school, which serves families from Anne Arundel County to Talbot County. The evening included lively bidding on silent auction items, like one-of-a-kind class projects, as well as a live auction with items ranging from an autographed PRS guitar to a seven-day trip to Kinsale, Ireland.
Supporters also participated in a Special Appeal to fund sending the school's teachers to Dallas, Texas, this summer to attend a national Classical educators conference. This effort raised more than $11,000 of the $50,000 raised.
