More than 200 people—many dressed in pirate-themed costumes—turned out for Historic London Town and Gardens' Privateer Party on Friday, April 29th.
The annual event included delicious food from eight local caterers, including Catering By Seasons, Eleven Courses, Ken's Creative Kitchen, Palate Pleasers, Rouge, Santoni's Catering, Saucy Salamander, and The Pantry Catering, a tasting station with Van Gogh Vodka, silent and live auctions, and dancing throughout the night, courtesy of Mixing Maryland DJs.
The evening raised more than $36,000 -- part of which benefits a fund request for the gardens; the rest supports London Town's efforts to share its unique colonial history and beautiful gardens with over 7,000 general/special events visitors and 5,500-plus students and teachers, primarily from Anne Arundel County.
Save the date for next year's event on Friday, April 28th, 2017!
