The Details
What can guests expect? An evening of great music to support those whose lives are affected by east cancer. The pre-concert reception includes a chance to meet and mingle with the band and to participate in the live auction of a signed PRS SE Custom 24 guitar! Pre-concert ticket holders also receive reserved premium seating for the show.
Food and drinks? A beer and wine bar will be available during the pre-concert reception and, even better, VIP ticket holders will receive the first beverage free! Devil's Backbone Brewing Company will have a selection of three beers at the bar, too! Additionally, during the reception, VIPs will get to sample a variety of signature lite fare provided by local restaurants. A cash bar will remain open throughout the show.
What about parking? There are several public, metered parking lots in Easton - all of which are free in the evening. The closest to the Avalon sits in between South Harrison and South Washington streets on Glenwood Avenue, just behind the theater. There's also plenty of nearby street parking should the lots be full!
The dress code? "Evening casual," but be ready to rock out! It's not exactly formal, but pass up the denim for this one!
Are tickets still available? Absolutely! Tickets are available in advance online at www.avalontheatre.com, over the phone (410-822-7299), or, if you're in the area, you can swing by the Avalon Theatre box office. And, if you forget to purchase them beforehand, you can still pick them up at the door. General admission tickets are $40; VIP tickets are $75.
Where do the proceeds go? All proceeds from the evening benefit Susan G. Komen Maryland and its community grant programs, which provide access to screenings, treatments, clinical trials, and support services. And while there is no specific monetary goal, the nonprofit organization would love to boast a "sold out" event!
