The 45th Annual Waterfowl Festival, held last year in mid-November, kicked off with the Premiere Night, which took place at Armory, Academy Art Museum, Avalon Theatre, and tented venues along South Harrison Street.
Attendees were the first to view (and purchase!) paintings, carvings, and sculptures on display, while enjoyed complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
Proceeds from the evening directly support the conservation work of the festival's partner organization, Waterfowl Chesapeake, which aims to create, restore, and conserve waterfowl and their habitat in the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
