MARYLAND THERAPEUTIC RIDING APPOINTS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Maryland Therapeutic Riding, Inc. (MTR) was pleased to announce the appointment of Cathy Rosenbaum as Executive Director of the Crownsville, Maryland facility in Fe uary. Most recently, Ms. Rosenbaum was an integral part of the Mount Vernon Place Conservancy team managing the $7,000,000 restoration of the Washington Monument located in Baltimore. Her personal horse was in a therapeutic riding program for several years, and she was fortunate enough to see firsthand the profoundly positive impact equine therapy can have in eaking down barriers and improving the lives of people with special needs. “I am thrilled to join the MTR team, and am looking forward to utilizing my non-profit management background, experience with horses, and my connections to the special needs community through my other to expand MTR’s quality programming and accessibility to the special needs community… located in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.” Maryland Therapeutic Riding is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with special needs through equine-based therapies and activities.
