RAMS HEAD GROUP AT POLAR BEAR PLUNGE
brOn Saturday, January 30th participants jumped into the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland. This year’s fundraising goal was $2,000,000. A grand total of $1,860,410 was raised during the event. Rams Head Group leadership and staff donated more than 250 volunteer hours, as well as all sales and tips to Special Olympics of Maryland. TAWES GARDEN GIFT SHOP CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
brThe Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden, Annapolis’ only free public garden, is looking for folks who would be interested in joining their volunteer staff as shop keepers in their small gift shop. The shop is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Shifts are just two hours each and can be once per week or once per month depending on volunteer’s interest. The shop is located in the Tawes State Office building across from the Navy Marine Corps stadium on Taylor Avenue in Annapolis.
