Special Olympics Maryland. This year’s fundraising goal was $2,000,000. A grand total of $1,860,410 was raised during the event. Rams Head Group leadership and staff donated more than 250 volunteer hours, as well as all sales and tips to Special Olympics of Maryland. TAWES GARDEN GIFT SHOP CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Tawes Garden, Annapolis’ only free public garden, is looking for folks who would be interested in joining their volunteer staff as shop keepers in their small gift shop. The shop is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Shifts are just two hours each and can be once per week or once per month depending on volunteer’s interest. FRIENDS OF ANNAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HOSTED DINE TO DONATE FUNDRAISER
Friends of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra hosted the Dine to Donate fundraiser at
Carrol’s Creek Café on Thursday, January 14th. Twenty percent of each guest’s bill went towards supporting the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. The ASO presents programs for adults and children and is committed to producing, presenting, and promoting memorable symphonic music that increases the awareness and appreciation of music for all ages throughout the region. FASO awards scholarships for private music lessons to young musicians who may otherwise not be able to acquire lessons. Additional FASO activities include participation in the ASO’s Music Van program with local schools, providing gift baskets to visiting guest artists, and serving dinner to ASO musicians at pre-concert rehearsals.
