Guests were invited to "experience the mystery and whimsy" as the winners of the What's Up? Best of Annapolis, Eastern Shore, and West County reader's polls were revealed at the elegant Venetian-style Masquerade. Attendees--who were encouraged to wear their wildest masks in competition for a $250 prize--were entertained by the Best Bands while sampling the delicacies of the Best Restaurants and bidding on items in an expansive silent auction. Crystalooney's was on hand to paint masks on faces as live entertainers circled the room for the most festive of affairs. Proceeds benefited the Anne Arundel County Li ary Foundation and the Hospice of Queen Anne's County.
