Bring your dog and join the fun at the 17th annual Howl-O-Week Barkin’ Bash at Quiet Waters Park! Enter your pup into a costume contest or test their training in the skills contests! Enjoy demonstrations, games, raffle drawings, and a variety of dog friendly exhibitors. Park admission fees are waived during event hours.
Annapolis 9/11 Heroes Run – Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Sunday, October 28th, 12 p.m.
The Annapolis 9/11 Heroes Run unites the community in remembering the sacrifices of the heroes of the September 11th attacks and in the wars since. Proceeds support the Travis Manion Foundation programs assisting veterans and families of fallen service members, and promoting character among today’s youth.

Downrigging Weekend Tall Ship and Wooden Boat Festival – Sultana Education Foundation

Now in its 18th year, Sultana’s Downrigging Weekend Tall Shop and Wooden Boat Festival is one of the largest annual tall ship gatherings in North America and features four days of tall ship sails, deck tours, concerts, lectures, film exhibits, and family activities.
Halloween BOOnanza! – Talbot County Community Center, Easton
Thursday, October 25th, 6–8 p.m.
Come enjoy this family fun event at the Talbot County Community Center. Trick-or-treat with community vendors, ice skating, face painting, carnival games, photo booth, and much much more. Each child will receive a goodie bag.
Oysterfest – Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
Saturday, October 27th, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sip, slurp, and savor at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s OysterFest. OysterFest is a celebration of the Chesapeake’s oyster, and this year also means the relaunch of the 1889 bugeye Edna E. Lockwood with her new log-hull bottom. The event features live music on two stages, boat rides, retriever demonstrations, oysters and other local fare, an oyster stew competition and cooking demonstrations, along with children’s activities, oyster demonstrations, harvesting displays and Chesapeake-related documentary screenings.

Sins & Secrets – Historic London Town and Gardens

Pirates, murder, and scandal aplenty await you on this adults-only, after-hours tour of Historic London Town and Gardens. Explore the dark underbelly of London’s history. Walk the streets of the long dead seaport, discovering its more salacious stories. Learn about headless chickens, forgotten cemeteries, drunken escapades, sheep pirates, and sailors killed by a fowl! BARCStoberfest – Patterson Park, Baltimore

BARCStoberfest returns with the super popular beer garden, shopping, yoga class, kids scavenger hunt, and the Ready…Set…Sniff! 5K or 1 Mile walk through Patterson Park. Proceeds benefit the lifesaving programs and animal care at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS).
