We Salute Memorial Half-Marathon and 10K – Truman Park and Ride
Saturday, June 16th, 7:30 a.m.
185 for Heroes, with Anne Arundel Striders, will be sponsoring a Half-Marathon and 10k race to remember the three Sailors from Maryland that passed away during the June 2017 collision of the USS FITZGERALD and the August 2017 collision of the USS JOHN S. MCCAIN. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to a non-profit organization of the families of the fallen Sailors’ choosing. The rest of the race proceeds will go to the non-profit organization, 185 For Heroes, to support wounded, injured, and ill veterans and their caretakers.
Drink Pink: A Rosé Picnic on the Creek – Charles Carroll House

Celebrate Summer and all things Rosé as we DRINK PINK on the Creek! The gardens of the Historic Charles Carroll House, a picturesque waterfront setting on Spa Creek, will be transformed into the rosé picnic party of the summer! The afternoon will be a lawn party to remember, filled with pink sips, lawn games, great music and dancing, and delicious food. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Foundation for Community Betterment, a network of generous individuals who believe a simple gesture that touches just one life can positivity impact an entire community.

The 33rd Annual Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival will be held in Talbot County from June 5th through June 17th. Musicians from the world’s stages will perform works of both familiar and lesser known composers of the past and present over two music-filled weeks. Artists and musical ensembles will perform nine concerts featuring a wide range of works by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Mahler, Norman, Prokofiev and more.

31st Annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival – Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels

Wooden and fiberglass classics, vintage racers, and other antique and Chesapeake Bay-related boats are coming to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for the 31st annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival and the Arts at Navy Point in St. Michaels, Md. Hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, this Father’s Day weekend event brings a sense of nostalgia to the Miles River and CBMM’s docks and campus, drawing some of the area’s finest classic boats, nautical and maritime treasures, entertainment, food, and libations to this waterfront festival.
