Then stay on for the party with signature cocktails and delicious savory and sweet bites. Proceeds from the event will go to Chesapeake Kids, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, designed to support children who are living with illness, dealing with the illness of a family member and who are grieving the loss of a loved one

Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival – Various Locations Throughout Talbot County
Every day through June 17th
The 33rd Annual Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival will be held in Talbot County from June 5th through June 17th. Musicians from the world’s stages will perform works of both familiar and lesser known composers of the past and present over two music-filled weeks. Artists and musical ensembles will perform nine concerts featuring a wide range of works by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Mahler, Norman, Prokofiev and more.

Rock Hall Rockfish Tournament – Rock Hall Marina
Friday, June 8th through Sunday, June 10th, 8 a.m.
The Maryland Watermen Association hosts the 2018 Rock Hall Rockfish Tournament. For the third year in a row, the tournament will have two tagged $20K prize fish. Payouts will be given to 1st through 4th places each day, and on for the highest accumulated weight for all three days. Trophies will be awarded to children who place, and all kids who participate with receive a certificate.

Ironman 70.3 Eagleman Triathlon – Cambridge
Sunday, June 10th, 8 a.m.
Watch the excitement as triathletes from all over the world take on a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and 13.1-mile run. The triathletes swim 1.2 miles in the waters of the Choptank, cycle 56 miles through the stunning Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and run 13.1 miles through the streets of the town — 70.3 miles in all.

9th Annual Piney Orchard Street Festival – Odenton

This annual event has grown each year and is typically attended by over 8,000 people. The Piney Orchard Community Association has been able to offer attendees great food, games, prize raffles, live music, children’s entertainment, face painting, and so much more due to the generous support of sponsors and vendor participation.
Books in Bloom – Downtown Columbia Lakefront, Columbia

The second annual Books in Bloom book festival returns with an all-star lineup of authors. Books in Bloom will bring together some of the country’s best and brightest authors for a daylong festival featuring readings, panel discussions, children’s activities and readings, and a pop-up bookstore by Politics & Prose. Authors include Edwidge Danticat, Amanda Lucidon, Jennifer Palmieri, and more.
