Enjoy 10 weeks of folk, classic rock, soul, swing, Celtic, island rhythm, jazzy, bluesy, randomly surprising music on the beach! In 2013, bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as original members of Heart. Now Fossen and Derosier are back together with Heart By Heart, a new band featuring powerhouse vocalist Somar Macek and multi-talented guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Lizzy Daymont. Honoring the magic and power of the music of Heart, this incredible lineup considers it their responsibility to bring the songs to the stage in their original form.

Join re-enacting groups including the United States Marine Corps Historical Company as we explore the birth of America - colonial style. Murder for Two – Infinity Theatre Company

Murder for Two will be Infinity Theatre Company’s only mainstage show of the year, and you don’t want to miss it! A zany blend of classic musical comedy and madcap mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with thrilling laughs. Officer Marcus Moscowicz is a small-town policeman with dreams of making it big...to small town detective. One fateful night, shots ring out at the surprise birthday party of Great American Novelist Arthur Whitney, and the writer is killed...fatally. With the nearest detective an hour away, Marcus jumps at the chance to prove his sleuthing skills as quickly as he can...while playing the piano.

Hear ye, hear ye! All are invited to revel in a day of forest fun when Adkins Arboretum celebrates its inaugural Forest Fair. Adventurers of all ages can embark on a forest quest, visit Robin Hood’s hideout and join in medieval games. Entertainment includes falconry and beekeeping demonstrations, ballads, dance, and performances by Shore Shakespeare. Archery and swordplay will add to the fun. The truly stout-hearted may visit the apothecary for a lesson on natural remedies or forage with a local peasant.
Music in the Park – Fountain Park, Chestertown

Smithsonian Folklife Festival – National Mall, Washington

The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is an international exposition of living cultural heritage annually produced outdoors on the National Mall of the United States in Washington, D.C., by the Smithsonian Institution’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.

This event brings artists outside to paint directly from life, without the aid of photography. The weekend draws many spectators to Main Street’s sidewalks. Spectators can follow the artists as they set up their easels and paint the town of Ellicott City, and join us for the exciting “quick draw” event. The event culminates in an exhibit at the Howard County Center for the Arts.
Cirque du Soleil: Crystal – Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore
