Easton, MD - According to The Talbot Spy, Talbot County prepared for the removal and relocation of the Talbot Boys Monument from the Talbot County Courthouse in Easton to the Cross Keys Battlefield in Harrisonburg, Virginia on March 13 for the removal that took place March 14. The monument is now under the custody, care, and control of Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation, Inc., a Virginia non-profit corporation, in accordance with an Administrative Resolution adopted by a majority of the Talbot County Council on September 14, 2021.
