ANNAPOLIS, MD – Beginning August 7, the Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Mobile Visitors Center will be open at its new location on the sidewalk directly across from Storm Bros. Ice Cream Factory, strategically positioned at the entrance to City Dock and along Ego Alley in the heart of historic Downtown Annapolis. The 20-foot-long trailer, staffed by Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County volunteers, is a dynamic outreach initiative designed to bring the region’s tourism experience directly to the public. The Mobile Visitors Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday throughout the remainder of the year with increasing availability during large events and peak visitor time periods.
“We’re able to greet visitors where their experience begins with the mobile visitors center. In past engagements, we’ve taken the trailer to the Military Bowl, the Bay Bridge Run, Ocean City, and now we have a spot at City Dock,” said Kristen Pironis, CEO of Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. “This high-visibility location is a gateway to our waterfront and offers the perfect opportunity to showcase all that Annapolis and Anne Arundel County have to offer. It’s more than just a place to pick up brochures—it’s a dynamic, interactive space that connects travelers with our community, encourages exploration, and supports our local businesses.”

The mobile information center offers visitors a chance to connect with our volunteer specialists and create a personalized itinerary or simply explore a large selection of brochures, maps, and tour information that promote local businesses and attractions throughout Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. More than just a visitor resource, the Mobile Visitors Center serves as a billboard on wheels—encouraging travel throughout Anne Arundel County, supporting the local economy, and appearing at events across Maryland and beyond to attract prospective overnight guests.
