“We are both humbled and grateful to be giving back to a community that has given us so much to be proud of,” said Brian Gibbons, Chairman and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons. “As parents and businesspeople, we strongly believe that investing in education is one of the best ways to strengthen a community and empower the next generation of leaders.”
The donations were made at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Board of Education’s annual budget meeting, with elected officials, representatives from the PTOs and principals of the 12 schools in attendance. The gifts were made possible through the Greenberg Gibbons/Reliable Foundation, a newly created fund of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.
“We want to help support the educational needs of the Waugh Chapel community today and for generations to come,” said Jay Baldwin, Principal of Reliable Contracting. “We hope to make a meaningful impact at each of these twelve schools.”
