December 19, 2014 (Annapolis, Maryland)– On Wednesday, December 17th, Westfield Annapolis was thrilled to send Santa and the Westfield Annapolis’ Merry Makers to Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Pediatric department to present a $2,000 donation check and letters that shoppers have written to the children this Holiday Season. The children in the Pediatric Center were greeted by Santa, who gave each of them a special note from Westfield Annapolis’ shoppers, and then invited to watch a private performance by Westfield’s Merry Makers. “Being able to give back to our local community and seeing the simile on these children’s faces is truly what this holiday season is about, says Christi Swanson, Marketing Director of Westfield Annapolis. The donation from Westfield Annapolis will be used to advance care in the Pediatric Center. “Donations like this help provide equipment and services that make a visit to our pediatric emergency room easier for our youngest patients,” says Mike Clemmens, MD, director of Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Pediatric Emergency Department.
