Travis Pastrana jumps over Ego Alley
Travis Pastrana made at least three successful jumps over Ego Alley in Downtown Annapolis.
The event everyone had been waiting for was a success this morning. While spectators held their breath in anticipation, Travis Pastrana jumped a car over Ego Alley not once, but multiple times after the initial success. The jump was planned to take off early in the morning, but a dense fog pushed back the jump until 11 a.m.
Two ramps by the City Dock were set up for Pastrana, an Annapolis native, to make the jump. One ramp was placed on the waters edge and stretched to the parking lot of Latitude 38 with a matching ramp to catch the car right off Compromise Street. Below the stunt car, a neon green power boat ran up Ego Alley. After the successful first jump, Pastrana tried to sync the boat with his jump, which again, was a success.
Spectators lined the streets for the jump and were excited for the local stuntman to do a victory lap around the City Dock to end the morning.
