In October boaters from across the country gather in the historic seaport of Annapolis to shop from all major powerboat manufacturers, climb aboard hundreds of center consoles, and tour brokerage boats. This is the best place to purchase boating supplies, navigation equipment, fishing gear, clothing, and marine accessories.

Meet and Greet with Distiller/Owner of Ragged Branch Distillery, Alex Toomy
October 8th, 5-7 p.m.; FishPaws Marketplace, Arnold
Friday October 8th from 5:00-7:00 PM we will have a meet and greet with distiller/owner of Ragged Branch Distillery, Alex Toomy! Bourbon samples and cocktails will be provided as Alex discusses his craft. We will be grilling Ragged Branch beef burgers- hamburger from their cattle, fed with the residual mash from their distillation process. At any one time, they maintain 50-100 head of cattle at Ragged Branch and their nearby leased site at Pounding Branch Farm. Two members of their team, each with an Agricultural Technology degree from Virginia Tech, oversee their cattle process to ensure delivery of only the finest quality beef. They calve many of their cattle on-site.

The Good Beer Festival in Salisbury, Maryland offers festival goers unlimited tastings of 30+ breweries, including a Local Beer Garden featuring Eastern Shore breweries. In addition to great beer, the festival offers music, regional cuisine, festival games, craft vendors and more.

FallFest attracts thousands of visitors from across the eastern seaboard showcasing the quaint hamlet of Rock Hall as we celebrate our heritage as a waterman’s town. Locals and visitors alike attend the festival because they know that FallFest guarantees to be a unique event where musicians hold forth throughout the day, oysters are local and plentiful, and children can participate in captivating and free activities. Approximately 40 handicraft vendors show and sell their wares at the festival and a large selection of food vendors serve up regional favorites.
13th Annual Calvert Arts Festival

Sample the best wines and craft beers from Southern Maryland makers at 13th Annual Calvert Arts Festival Saturday, 9 October, 10 AM – 5 PM at All Saints' Episcopal Church. A $15 fee to taste wines/beers gives you a souvenir tasting glass and wristband. No fee to shop from outstanding local juried artisans. Bring your wings for a day of magic! Follow a trail of fairy houses along enchanted forest paths, hunt for gnomes in Emily's Play Garden, and join in a meadow maypole dance. Make magical crafts, climb aboard the Neverland pirate ship, and try your hand at archery and magical games. Live entertainment by Shore Shakespeare, Ampersand, the Mid-Shore Dance Academy, and the Sammati Dance Company. Unicorn rides, food and drink, and ice cream from Nice Farms Creamery will be available for purchase.
Beauty, Bubbles, and Bites Showcase

Night on the Town - Annapolis Tornado Relief Concert
October 10th, 4 - 8 p.m.; Annapolis Town Center, Annapolis
Powerful and destructive, Hurricane Ida ripped through parts of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Damaging businesses and homes, knocking down trees, and littering the streets with debris. As clean up begins, Annapolis Town Center commits to hosting a fundraiser in an effort to help the county recoup. On October 10, the Town Center will host an outdoor concert experience where proceeds from the event will support community members impacted by the hurricane. This event titled, “Night Out on the Town”, will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and features the East Coast’s original 80’s band The Reagan Years, Danah Denice, and DJ Manjo from JAGMAC. Attendees can purchase concert-only tickets for $25 or opt-in for an additional silent disco experience. The combo ticket costs $30 and ticket holders can choose from three different silent disco time slots throughout the night. All ticketed guests will receive entry to the event, the musical experience of their choice, and access to a variety of food and beverages offered by Vintage Views: A Wandering Bar and additional local food trucks.
