5k Fun Run and One-Mile Jaunt: The Arnold course is well marked and moderately hilly. Course maps will be available on site. Runs are not timed so participants can enjoy the beauty of the fall season on campus! Begins at 12:00 p.m. FREE! Riverhawk Rush (75-yard dash for kids 2 to 10): Let the littlest birds spread their wings in their very own Riverhawk Rush! The 75-yard dash will be run prior to the start of the Turkey Trot near registration. Age-appropriate heats will be set. The Riverhawk Rush runs begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.

Second Annual Life Size Candy Land Adventure

The Talbot County Women's Club (TCWC) is pleased to announce its Second Annual Outdoor Life-Sized Candy Land Adventure fundraiser including carnival games, holiday crafts for kids, raffles, and historic tours on Saturday November 26 and Sunday November 27 at the Talbot County Women's Club at 18 Talbot Lane in Easton. The classic board game, Candy Land, will be brought to life in downtown Easton offering all ages a chance to navigate thru a life-size, fun-filled journey playing games in magical areas such as the Lollypop Woods, Peppermint Forest, and Gumdrop Mountain. Participants gather winning tickets to turn in for special prizes. The fun continues inside the Women's Club with holiday crafts for kids, raffle items including gift baskets, restaurant gift cards, free cookies, historic tours, and more.

For the first time, the event will be co-chaired by a representative from both Friends of Hospice and Talbot Hospice. The 2022 Chairs are John Horner, Vice President of the Board for Friends of Hospice and Mia Cranford, Talbot Hospice Development Director. Together with the planning committee, they have chosen to present “Winter Festival 2022” to better reflect the multiple events that take place during the Festival. The Festival of Trees will continue to be a marquee event at the Tidewater Inn and will be part of a series of five events beginning in October.

Choral groups and musicians will perform all of your holiday favorites from 5-7pm. All spectators will receive a complimentary candle and holiday treats. Twinkling holiday accessories will be sold by Santa’s elves to help celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season

The Downtown Annapolis Partnership joins the City of Annapolis as they ring in the holiday season in downtown Annapolis. The Grand Illumination and annual tree lighting take place near the Market House every year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The celebration begins at 4:30 pm with dancing and carols by local school groups. The City of Annapolis and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership will host the Grand Illumination at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. The annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will include carolers, music, hot cocoa, and crafts for the kids, plus candy canes and general merriment! This event is free and open to the public. Join Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Elfie as they arrive to light the Christmas Tree.

Hosted by the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, Mid-Shore Gives is a 24-hour online fundraising event to celebrate and support local nonprofits in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, and Talbot Counties.
