The 5th Annual Ocean City Film Festival continues with a special outdoor event to bring people together while socially distanced. The Festival will hold a Drive-In Weekend on March 26-27, with three showings on Friday and Saturday at the Ocean City Inlet Parking Lot, where attendees will view films safely from their private cars.Friday, March 26, at 8 p.m. is Local’s Night featuring two locally-produced films. First up is a music video, “Sheena Doesn’t Mind,” by Berlin natives and sister-and-brother team Emmi and Tate Shockley. The feature film is “Reggie’s Forest,” directed and produced by Dave Messick of Unscene Productions. This is a new cut of the film that premiered at the 2020 Film Festival about local Reggie Mariner and the preservation of his 600-acre forest in Worcester County.
Who's Next? Operation Arts Competition Finale 2021

Operation A.R.T.S Foundation Inc in partnerships with Urban Revolution Underground and Sonor Wines America would like to announce the kickoff of two awesome contests for creatives! The first contest is for visual artists; an Illustrator Comic Contest with our partners Urban Revolution Underground. Visual artists will compete for the chance to have their artwork become part of the comic series! The second contest we would like to announce is the Sonor Wines America - Music competition, where musicians of all genres will compete for the chance to have their music infused into wine! Both contests have an entry fee of $20 and will end on March 2nd. We will open up public voting from 3/2-3/17 so you can pick your fan favorites for the top 10 finalists. Then our panel of industry leaders will decide the winner of the Wine Competition. Our Local celebrity judges will include Maximilian Bachmann the owner of Sonor Wines America, Mollie Coleman of High Caliber Events, Billy Lyve of Wisdom Court Entertainment, and two of the musicians of the previous wine bottles of 2018, Ronnie Dicchico & Alex Gordez. The winners of both contests will be announced during our live virtual event hosted on March 26th from 7-9 PM on Facebook Live and YouTube. Our sister nonprofit, Beats For A Better Tomorrow Foundation will be supporting the event production to help us create a one of a kind virtual experience.
GiGi's Playhouse "Seas" the Day Gala

We have planned a wonderful virtual gala event for you and we are excited for you to join us for an evening of inspiration in support of our mission to change the way the world views Down Syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all! With the virtual gala format, we wanted to share some notes about what to expect and how the program will work this year.
March 27th-28th; Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md., is offering a women-only woodworking class in its Workshop Annex on March 27 & 28, from 9am –4:30pm each day. Participants should plan to attend both sessions. Shipyard Education Programs Manager Jennifer Kuhn will lead this program, after which participants will take home a custom-made mallet. Attendees will also learn how to make a cut list, buy lumber, measure lengths and angles, and safely use a table saw, band saw, miter saw, router, drill, sander, and a variety of hand tools. The cost for this two-day workshop is $130 for non-members, with a 20% discount for CBMM members. Participants must be 16 years of age or older, unless accompanied by an adult.
