A group of local bee enthusiasts are joining forces to raise awareness about the importance of bees and their impact on our ecosystem. The event, which will take place on May 11, 2023, from 5-7:30 pm at Oxford Community Center (OCC), will bring together a beekeeper, a store owner with bee-related products, a bee hotel maker, Talbot Master Gardener Volunteers, and the Oxford Garden Club, all of whom are passionate about preserving our planet's pollinators. Bees are essential for pollinating crops and plants; without them, our food supply and ecosystems would suffer greatly. The event aims to educate the community on the importance of bees and show ways to help protect them.
