Enjoy midway fun for the whole family May 20-31 with rides and games for all ages and favorite fair food. Event admission is free except after 6 pm Saturday (ride ticket pack purchase required). Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $35 on site and discounted online. (See website for the Saturday wristband and admission policies.) Ride tickets are also available at the event for $1.50 each, $30/20 tickets or $60/50 tickets plus 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.) Big Little Boat Festival Races & Rendezvous
May 22nd; Camp Wabanna, Edgewater
Chesapeake Light Craft, the boat kit experts, announce the 2021 Big Little Boat Festival Races & Rendezvous, coming to the campus of Camp Wabanna, south of Annapolis, MD, on Saturday, May 22. Races start and finish in front of the beautiful Camp Wabanna campus just south of Annapolis. Centered at the intersection of the Rhode and West Rivers, there will be plenty of space to launch watercraft. Bring your boat or paddleboard to race in 1-, 3-, or 8-mile races for paddlers (seated and standing), rowers, and sailors, or try your luck on the 20-mile race! The 20-miler is a debut event for Raid Chesapeake, a new organization intended to develop and manage point-to-point "adventure" races on the Chesapeake Bay for small boats powered by paddle, oar, and sail.

KidStrong is a child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals. People can stop by and tour the facility and learn more about what we do at Kidstrong and sign up for our discounted membership rate. Additionally, members can pick up their starter kits during this time as well.
Keepin' The Blues Alive Food Drive
May 22nd, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Maryland Hall for Creative Arts, Annapolis
In partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival and Katcef Brothers, help keep the Blues alive and donate to your neighbors. Although the annual Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival cannot take place this year, our friends at the Festival and Katcef Brothers are staying true to their community commitment with this fun drive through food donation event. Bring donations of non-perishable food items to Maryland Hall from 11 am-4 pm and help us fill a Budweiser truck with much needed items for our neighbors. In partnership with Love AACO, a coalition of churches and organizations in Anne Arundel County, all donations will stay in our community. Enjoy pre-recorded Blues music during your visit and be entered to win raffle prizes. The Blues Festival is also selling t-shirts to benefit this event. Order in advance on their website and pick up on May 22.

Brigance Brigade Foundation, an organization that equips, encourages and empowers people living with ALS invites you to lace up and join the Brigance Brigade for an all-virtual 5.7K Race and 1.57 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk on May 23, 2021! The race is a fun-filled annual family event that brings supporters together to raise much-needed funds and celebrate people living with ALS, caregivers of those with ALS and families in the toughest fight of their lives. The Club will open at 11:00 AM, the Blue Angels will arrive and circle between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Air Show begins at 2:00 PM. All seating is reserved to ensure we follow all State and Local COVID-19 rules and guidelines. Attendees must remain seated and may not stand or congregate. Masks must be worn on EYC property except when seated at your table or once you have boarded your vessel. Seats will be chosen/assigned at the time of ticket purchase, please pick from the available seating. We cannot accommodate walk-ins: all members and their guests must be pre-registered. There is no limit on the number of guest passes members may purchase for Practice Day
