Friends of the Light House Golf Tournament
June 10th, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Renditions Golf Club, Davidsonville
Join us for a day of golf to support the Annapolis Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center. Enjoy golf, prizes, raffle and delicious food and drinks. Held at Renditions Golf Course - Golf's Grand Slam Experience is tribute to golf's greatest holes. The Light House rebuilds lives with compassion by providing shelter and services to prevent homelessness and empower people as they transition toward employment, housing and self-sufficiency. Beyond providing food, clothing, and shelter, The Light House also addresses the underlying causes of homelessness such as lack of marketable job skills, addiction, and the debilitating effects of both mental and physical health issues.
June 10th; Old Ellicott City
Come on out this summer as artists take to the streets of Historic Ellicott City to participate in our plein air event! Paint It! Ellicott City is an annual event that brings artists and spectators interested in the plein air tradition to Historic Ellicott City. Also known as a paint-out, this event brings artists outside to paint directly from life, without the aid of photography. Both juried and Open Paint artists set up their easels around the historic district, enjoying a summer weekend as they capture the picturesque mill town and all its charms. Spectators can follow the artists as they set up their easels around Ellicott City’s historic district.

Get your girlfriends together and come out for an evening of food and fun, sipping and shopping! We will have many vendors, crafters, and food artisans to delight all of your senses. VIP tickets available. The VIP experience includes: priority parking, drink ticket, and swag bag. Proceeds to benefit the Blue Ribbon Project, an organization that supports foster children.
The Beach Summer Concert Series
June 11th, 6 p.m.; Stage One at MC3, Annapolis
Grab your beach chairs, umbrellas, blankets and kick-back while enjoying LIVE outdoor performances again at MC3's outdoor venue StageOne. For the first performance of the series, enjoy traditional and contemporary jazz and r & b with Tony Spencer and The Sunset Band. Food and drinks from multiple on-site vendors will be available including the famous Annapolis Tiki bar! Guests will not be permitted to bring their own alcohol into the venue. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the concert begins at 6:00 PM.
The Annual Don Backe Memorial Regatta
June 12th, 8:30 a.m.; Annapolis Yacht Club
Mark your calendars for the 28th annual Don Backe Memorial CRAB Regatta on June 12th allowing disabled sailors to compete in a four race series event. Hosted by the Annapolis Yacht Club, the race will take place on the Severn River and Annapolis Harbor. The sailboats are specifically designed to accommodate disabilities of any kind. First come, first served boats available.
Annual Chesapeake Children's Book Festival
June 12th, 9 a.m.; Talbot County Free Library, Easton
The Chesapeake Children’s Book Festival will take place at the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library on Saturday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year it will be an outdoor, in-person, first-come, first-serve event with a limited number of attendees. The Children’s Book Festival will also be live-streamed as part of the virtual component and makes it possible for more people to attend. Children’s book author/illustrator, Bryan Collier will be the keynote speaker and present at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. If you’ve ever seen Collier’s work, you know why his impressive list of prizes includes four Caldecott Honors and six Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards. His works include, We Shall Overcome; Fifty Cents and a Dream and The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His illustrations are the type of artwork that combine watercolor and collage and leave a profound impact on you.
We Care's 30th Anniversary Gala Fundraiser

Come on out for to celebrate how Larry L. Griffin always ensured there was a safety net for our communities and kicking off We Care and Friends 2.0 for the next 30 years. 21st Annual Steve Quick Memorial Golf Tournament
June 14th, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Eisenhower Golf Club, Crownsville
Welcome to the 21st edition of the Steve Quick Memorial Golf Tournament. This year the tournament returns to its original and long time home of Eisenhower Golf Course. The recently redesigned and rebranded The Preserve at Eisenhower will be open to the general public for the first time in years on May 1st. We will be one of the first tournaments held at the course. Through the years the Quick Memorial has produced many incredible memories for the hundereds of golfers who have played in it and patrons who have attended.
