June 24th to 26th; Guinness Open Gate Brewery, Halethorpe
The Guinness Open Gate Brewery and Baltimore County Arts Guild announce the return of the inaugural Arts & Drafts Festival. The three-day, free summer music and art event celebrates the Baltimore County art community with live music, visual artist vendors, hands-on art activities and specialty beer releases. The fun kicks off Friday, June 24, with a concert featuring Sweet Leda and Lower Case Blues, from 6 to 10 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday guests can enjoy and purchase art from over 60 regional artists specializing in pottery, woodworking, stained glass, acrylic and watercolor painting, mixed media and more. This interactive, visually-engaging exhibition serves as a marketplace for unique, curated pieces. In addition to visual art, local musicians will be taking to the festival stage with live performances continually throughout the day. Created as a way to expose local music to a larger audience, Eastport a Rockin’ has drawn attendees from throughout the neighborhood and across the region since 1997 and is known as the local music festival of the summer. 30+ bands will perform, keeping local, original music a key component of Eastport a Rockin’. Up and coming local bands with a wide range of styles will display their talents alongside longtime favorites. Over the years, Eastport a Rockin’ has featured such bands as Good Charlotte and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, and the next big act just might be in this year’s line-up. From rock to folk to roots to blues to jazz to bluegrass to funk, and even some Kindie rock the breadth of music types found at the Festival is sure to please everyone who attends.
Erin Levitas Foundation's 3rd Annual Stroll & Roll

Join the Erin Levitas Foundation (ELF) on Saturday, June 25, 2022, for the 3rd annual Erin Levitas Foundation Stroll & Roll. Friends, families, businesses, and individual supporters will walk, run, dance, stroll or roll to raise the organization’s goal of $150,000 and awareness for sexual assault prevention through early education. Participants can join in-person in Baltimore or virtually from anywhere around the world. Supporters participating in-person will come together at the Camden Yards Sports Complex for the 1.81-mile loop around the iconic Baltimore stadiums. Following the Stroll & Roll, families will enjoy a kid’s zone complete with a moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, coloring wall and more! To celebrate members of ELF’s community, awards will be given to those who have gone the extra mile in categories for fundraising, team gathering, volunteering and more.
20th Anniversary Bash featuring: Here's to the Night Concert

Take a step back into the 90's with us! Slip on some docs and torn jeans and come rock-out with Here's to the Night. If a picture is truly worth a thousand words, then the memories and stories that a particular song can evoke are worth a million. Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Here’s to the Night fully immerses listeners in a full-spectrum 90s experience, with a song list comprised of some of the most fun and energetic songs from the era. From start to finish, audiences are transformed back to their high school heyday, as the party vibe transcends the stage and makes its way to the dance floor. You’ll hear all the alt rock classics, one-hit wonders, boy bands and hip hop legends that can be crammed into a single evening. Here’s to the Night brings together 4 Mid-Atlantic music veterans with a wealth of experience, giving audiences an unforgettable live event.

For nearly a decade, ShoreRivers has hosted a Summer Solstice Celebration under a big tent on the banks of the Chester River. Last year we pivoted and hosted multiple expeditions to celebrate the summer. This year, we are doing both! We are coordinating expeditions again this year to offer experiences throughout the week that celebrate the rivers and ecosystems we work to protect. The end of the week will bring the celebration to a close under the tent at our signature celebration event.
The Jazz Alive 2022 Summer Concert Series
June 25th, 7 p.m.; Waterfowl Festival Building, Easton
Jazz Alive presents their 2022 Summer Concert Series at the historic Waterfowl Building located at 40 South Harrison Street in Easton, Maryland. Continuing the club-like setting of the 2021 series, concertgoers can reserve seats at tables set throughout the hall that offer great views of the stage while enjoying a beverage and lite snacks from a candlelit table. The 2022 Summer Concert Series kicks off on June 25, 2022 with one of the world’s finest jazz saxophone players, Larry McKenna. Larry is known for his gorgeous tenor saxophone sound, the beauty of his balladry, and his fluid, bebop-inspired improvisations. After six decades in his profession, his international reputation as both a masterful jazz improviser and educator is firmly established. Over the years, Larry has performed and recorded with many jazz stars including Woody Herman, Clark Terry, Buddy DeFranco, Barry Harris, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Jimmy Heath, Jon Faddis, Harry Allen, Terell Stafford, Eric Alexander, Bill Charlap, Warren Vaché, Kenny Barron, Randy Brecker, Wynton Marsalis, and Frank Sinatra.
Woman: A Modern Dance Performance by The Company at MC3

The work follows a timeline of women rising in the political world from the 1920's to 2022. The soundtrack will be set to the music of female composer, Zoe Keating along with real-life recordings from protests, famous speeches and our our local female delegates; Delegate Shaneka Henson and Delegate Heather Bagnall.
