The St. Michaels Community Center’s free, waterfront Summer Concert Series is on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to Muskrat Park in St. Michaels beginning June 8 and continuing through Aug. 31.
July 1st; Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St Michaels
In celebration of Independence Day, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum opens its doors for a night of live music each year. The St. Michaels fireworks will launch after dusk that evening, with CBMM’s waterfront campus a great venue from which guests can enjoy them.

Its almost time for FIREWORKS! Once again the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting the July 3rd Fireworks show over the Harbor on July 3rd, at 9:15 PM. Eastport 4th of July Kids Parade

It's that time of year again.... time to start thinking about your July 4th plans! The MRE Kids Parade is scheduled for a 1030am marching time, sign up at 10am! We are just waiting for the permit, but we plan on the same deal as last year. If you are a local business who would like to donate some prizes for best, decorated scooter, bike, wagon, stroller, etc.
Annapolis 4th of July Parade & Fireworks
July 4th, 6:40 (parade), 8 p.m. (Fireworks)
Come join this patriotic salute to our nation with marching bands, fire engines old and new, cars and vans, service clubs, and scouts! ROUTE: The parade kicks off at Amos Garrett and West Street. We'll head down West Street, wrong way around Church Circle, and down Main Street. Anywhere along the parade route will provide a good view of the parade. Annapolis launches its fireworks from a barge in Annapolis Harbor. The best viewing areas include public spaces Northeast of the Severn River, City Dock, along the Naval Academy Bridge (limited parking area), any of the street end parks facing Spa Creek, and aboard a boat in the Annapolis harbor. The Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic from Eastport into Annapolis beginning at 6 p.m. The bridge will remain closed until the conclusion of the fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. Please be aware that the closer you get to downtown, the harder it will be to park and the more difficulty you will have getting out of town after the celebration.
July 4th, 9:20 p.m.; Kent Narrows
Queen Anne’s County Annual Fireworks is scheduled for July 4, 2023. The fireworks will be set off from the same location as years past so they can be viewed from the Kent Narrows and surrounding area. Due to the site improvements being done at the Chesapeake Heritage and Visitors Center the celebration has moved to the parking area of the “old outlets” 59 Piney Narrows Road.
July 4th, 9:20 p.m.; Columbia Waterfront
Howard County and the Columbia Association will co-host the annual July 4th fireworks at the Lakefront at Columbia, beginning around 9:20pm on July 4. (Please note that Howard County is only hosting the fireworks in 2023. Thank you to the Columbia Association for handling the entertainment, food and more.)

Decorated Bike Contest at the Independence Day Parade
July 4th, 9:15-11 a.m.; Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce, Severna Park
Each year, the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce, as part of its Independence Day festivities, holds a Decorated Bike Contest for our youngest residents. Children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, tricycles and wagons, and enter the contest.
