The 79th annual Rotary Club of Annapolis Crab Feast will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. This well-known Annapolis event is a major fundraiser for our local community that benefits many different non-profit organizations.
10th Anniversary Sudlersville Peach Festival

Local bands will provide live music, community non-profit groups serving great homemade food from pit beef to peach cobbler, local vendors offering their best hand-made crafts, and lots of great family activities, this event is a true community gala that promises to be a great time for the whole family.
Maryland Whipsnakes Homecoming

The Whipsnakes are hosting their homecoming tournament at Homewood Field this weekend. The Whipsnakes will play the Philadelphia Waterdogs at 1 p.m. on Saturday and the Boston Cannons at 3 p.m. on Sunday but the weekend will be full of lacrosse!

Guided Tour of the William Paca Garden

In 1974, Historic Annapolis opened the newly reconstructed Paca Garden to the public. We’re pleased to celebrate 50 years of our beloved Paca Garden with special guided garden tours on Friday mornings throughout the summer. Take a stroll through our beautifully restored two-acre 18th century English garden. Your experienced docent will share its history from the time of William Paca, signer of the Declaration of Independence, to present day as you wander the terraced landscape, formal parterres, wilderness garden, the practical kitchen and medicinal gardens, and orchard. What a treat for the senses as you discover the flora, fauna, a charming fishpond, and the quaint Summerhouse folly!

Living History on Pinkney Street: Civil War First Maryland Volunteer Infantry

Meet the Civil War First Maryland Volunteer Infantry Regiment on Pinkney Street! Learn about their recruiting efforts in August and September of 1862 to replace troops lost at the battle of Front Royal, as well as reintegrate the prisoners to be exchanged and paroled at Camp Parole.

Watermen’s Appreciation Day is CBMM’s annual celebration of the men and women who make their living on the Chesapeake Bay and their heritage, featuring a boat docking contest, steamed crabs by the dozen, live music, family activities, and more.

As early travelers arrived in Annapolis, Maryland by ship they were met by a horse drawn carriage. Once their belongings were unloaded from their ship they would proceed up Main Street to West Street and travel to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and over time to Washington DC. Over the years, West Street has evolved. Yet in many ways is still the gateway from downtown Annapolis to the major highways of today. In an effort to respect the rich history and traditions of West Street Annapolis, the name of the Corvette Annapolis car show called “Carriages on West Street” was born.
