Rotary Club of Annapolis Lunch Group Meeting
August 26th, 12 - 1:30 p.m.; Annapolis Yacht Club
The Rotary Club of Annapolis is celebrating its Centennial this year 1921-2021 - 100 years of serving the community. The Club is made of 142 individuals participating in numerous projects to benefit residents locally and around the world. The Club has three groups that meet at different times for the convenience of its members. The Lunch Group meets Thursdays at noon at Annapolis Yacht Club. The Breakfast Group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:00am at Eggcellence on Housely Road, and the Happy Hour Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at Gordon Biersch Brewery in Parole. Out of This World Drive-In Movie Night
August 26th, 7 - 10 p.m.; Bengies Drive-In, Middle River
The Baltimore Station, an organization that provides individuals who suffer from homelessness and substance abuse disorder with residential and outpatient treatment programs, will host its 2nd annual Drive-In Movie Night on Thursday, August 26, 2021. The fundraiser will once again be held at Bengie’s Drive-In Movie Theatre and will feature the family-friendly movie, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. All funds raised from the event will support homeless veterans in the program. Friends and supporters of the organization can gather safely from the comfort of their car to enjoy the E.T.. Tickets are priced per car and will include food from Mission BBQ, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and other movie treats such as candy and popcorn.

In a Flash: 52 Years of Photos from the Annapolis Boat Shows Art Reception
August 28th, 6 - 8 p.m.; The Gallery at MC3, Annapolis
This August MC3 will be presenting a new art exhibit titled, “ In A Flash: Discover 52 Years of Photos from the Annapolis Boat Shows”. The exhibit will run from Wednesday August 11th to Friday, September 3rd. The exhibiting artists include Billy Black, Jay Fleming, John Bildahl and work from Kevin Fleming. A reception for the artists will be held on the evening of Saturday August 28th at MC3 and will feature a silent art auction, complimentary refreshments, and historical artifacts from the Annapolis Boat Show’s archives.
Bryan Brother's Fantasy Clinic

Bob and Mike Bryan, the greatest doubles team of all time, will be holding tennis clinics in Easton, MD and Lewes, DE in August. The Bryan Brothers have won countless accolades, most notably as the most successful duo ever, claiming 45 GrandSlam titles, Olympic Gold in London, 119 doubles titles together, and finishing 11 years as World No.1. Each exclusive clinic features unparalleled doubles instruction and training. The Bryans coach, Dr. DaveMarshall, will be on hand to show participants what it takes to train like the Bryans and players will test their skills with Bob and Mike during morning and afternoon clinics. To top the day off, each participant will enjoy a court side lunch and Q&A session with the Bryans and coaches, along with photographs and autographs. Her book, Cover My Dreams in Ink, won the 2021 National Indie Excellence book competition for “Best Autobiography.” That book also entered its Second Printing this past May.
