Out of the Darkness Annapolis Walk
September 19th; 7-9 p.m., Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, Annapolis
While the Annapolis Out of the Darkness Walk is going to look different this year, our mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide has not changed. We invite you to join us for the Annapolis Out of the Darkness Experiences. Instead of gathering for a big event, we encourage you to walk to fight suicide on September 19 and 20 with friends and family (following CDC guidelines) in your neighborhood, in parks, or on your treadmill. Wear AFSP or Out of the Darkness T-shirts and make signs in honor of a loved one or to spread hope in your community. If walking is not your thing, do whatever you enjoy – it is YOUR experience. For those who want to be part of a safe in-person event, join us for the Annapolis Drive-Thru Luminary Ceremony at the Navy Stadium on September 19 from 7-9 pm. The thousands of luminaries placed throughout the Stadium area will shine a light on suicide prevention and let our community know that Hope is not cancelled.
