The event will happen in conjunction with First Night Talbot, an annual event that will be held virtually this year at 7PM. Join us and say goodbye to 2021 with style!
First Night Talbot 2022 will be virtual again this year due to complications and warnings of the continuing COVID pandemic and newest highly transmittable strains. We’ll be presenting a jam-packed show from 7:00-9:30 pm on Dec. 31, 2021. A link to the online video presentation will be online at www.firstnighttalbot.net. Our emphasis this year is on the most caring, inclusive, and optimistic “Celebration of the Arts” we can present. In these times with so much uncertainty and hard feelings broadcast on a daily basis, it just seems right. Our Crab button was designed in response to the idea of the Crab “Hanging in There for Another Year!” But several have commented that the Crab is reaching for the Moon and the Stars… optimistic. We’ll take that interpretation gladly! We filmed the whole Crab Drop on Monday, December 20 (at our undisclosed location)… it was cold! But one of our favorite regulars, “Cascading Carlos”, was able to perform some exceptional fire juggling. Due to the location, there was more room for him to interact safely with the kids and adults. It was amazing! Ray Remesch was “up close and personal” to film the exhibition of several fire devices. We can’t wait for that video!
