What makes The Country School what it is lies in our ethos: Do your best always.
From citizenship to academics, we expect this mantra to guide our students in everything they do. With a focus on character building, The Country School instills its 9 Core Values (honesty, respect, responsibility, compassion, generosity, commitment, cooperation, fairness, and moral courage) in students, nurturing confident and compassionate individuals poised to make a positive impact.
The backbone of The Country School is its exceptional faculty, committed to creating a nurturing environment where students thrive. Their passion for teaching extends beyond academics, inspiring a lifelong love for learning. With an average class size of 15, our teachers know every one of their students well and differentiate instruction strategically to bring out the best in them. The Country School is a close-knit community that values diversity and inclusivity. Students build lasting friendships in an atmosphere that encourages individuality and mutual respect.
Students graduating from The Country School have many options for high school, including local public schools, and boarding and day independent schools. With the help of our secondary school counselor who begins working with students in 7th grade, our recent graduates have been accepted into 32 different high schools.
