Situated on 75-acres along the Corsica River, Gunston offers students a highly personalized and rigorous academic experience, a strong community, a focus on the balanced development of mind, body, and spirit, and an emphasis on leadership.
Programs of note include Chesapeake Bay Studies, 20+ AP courses including AP Cybersecurity, and a financial literacy program for seniors. Gunston offers 21 sports teams, including rowing and sailing, with athletics incorporated into the school day, which ends at 4:30p.m. Bus service available. Personal tours and shadow days available by appointment with in-person open houses held annually in January, April, October, and November.
