Pumpkin Walk – Hammond-Harwood House Museum, Annapolis Friday, October 25th, 4 p.m. Join the Hammond-Harwood House Museum for its annual Pumpkin Walk. The event will celebrate the season with games and a costume parade around the mansion. This event will also feature several fun activities to introduce children and teach them about the architecture of the house. USNA Halloween Concert – U.S. Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis Friday, October 25th, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 26th, 7 p.m. The USNA annual Halloween Concert is a spectacular event of music, lights, drama, and dance. This electrifying concert features chapel organist Monte Maxwell and the talented midshipmen in a presentation that has drawn record-breaking crowds into the Naval Academy Chapel. A wide variety of music from multiple genres is performed in this concert, celebrating the triumph of good over evil and All Saints’ Day. Movie Night Under the Stars: The Nightmare Before Christmas – Eastport-Annapolis Neck Community Library, Annapolis Friday, October 25th, 6:15 p.m. Join SOFO Annapolis for a free movie night under the stars. This week, enjoy a showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Before the movie, enjoy movie-themed food from Grump’s Cafe, live music, ice cream from Bruster’s, a beer and wine garden from Bay Ridge Wine and Spirits, and free popcorn. Family Fall Festival – Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, Gambrills Saturday, October 26th, 12 p.m. Join Waugh Chapel Towne Centre for its annual Family Fall Festival. Enjoy face painting, balloon art, apple cider, pumpkin decorating, magic shows, and more. It's fun the whole family can enjoy! ATC Fall Fest – Annapolis Towne Centre, Annapolis Saturday, October 26th, 12 p.m. Join Annapolis Towne Centre for a day filled with fall festivities perfect for the whole family! Let the little ones run through a hay maze, try their hands at pumpkin painting, take a train ride, and more while you enjoy all the stylish, quality shopping you know and love from the Towne Centre or a drink at the beer and wine garden. Howl-O-Ween Barkin' Bash – Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis Sunday, October 27th, 11 a.m. Join the SPCA of Anne Arundel County for its Howl-O-Ween Barkin’ Bash at Quiet Waters Park! This dog- and family-friendly event is sure to be a howling good time! There will be games, raffles, demonstrations, food, local vendors, and the annual costume contest. The SPCA will be showcasing some of its adoptable animals.
Eastern Shore
Halloween BOOnanza – Talbot County Community Center, Easton Thursday, October 24th, 6 p.m. Come have a SPOOKtacular time at Talbot County Community Center! This family-fun event includes ice skating, trick-or-treating, carnival games, face painting, a photo booth, and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to show off your costume in the costume contest! This is an event for all ages. Tilghman Island Haunted House – Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company, Tilghman Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th, 7 p.m. Enjoy a scary, fun-filled evening at Tilghman Island’s Haunted House. Dress up in your favorite costume or come as you are to this house of eerie and creepy monsters and goblins! Howl-O-Ween 5K Run-Walk – Martin Sutton Park, Ridgely Saturday, October 26th, 9 a.m. The Caroline County Humane Society invites you to its inaugural Howl-O-Ween 5K Run-Walk! The course is a flat loop that includes Ridgely’s rail trail and scenic farmland. Awards will be given–including costume prizes–and all advanced registrants will receive a long-sleeved shirt. OysterFest – Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels Saturday, October 26th, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Sip, slurp, and savor at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s OysterFest. Enjoy live music on two stages, boat rides, Chesapeake Bay retriever demonstrations, oysters and other local fare, an oyster stew competition, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, and more. Kite Festival – Sailwinds Park, Cambridge Sunday, October 27th, 4 p.m. Grab a kite and spend an afternoon with family and friends on the banks of the Choptank River during the 15th annual Kite Festival at Sailwinds Park. This event features kites of all shapes and sizes, kite stunt competitions, vendors, music, and plenty of fun activities for all ages. The Maryland Zoo will be on site with penguins to talk about habitat conservation.

The World Series – Nationals Park, D.C. Friday, October 25th, TBA; Saturday, October 26th, TBA; Sunday, October 27th, TBA The Washington Nationals are the 2019 National League champions! Cheer on the Nats as they take on TBA (Astros or Yankees) in their first World Series appearance in franchise history. ZooBOOO! – Maryland Zoo in Baltimore Friday, October 25th through Sunday, October 27th, 10 a.m. Come celebrate Halloween and the fall season during the Maryland Zoo’s 36th annual ZooBOOO! Enjoy games, prizes, contests, live entertainment, and free trick-or-treating. Plus, you won’t want to miss the “not-so-spooky” hay maze, super fun inflatables, free crafts, and fun animal enrichment. Parents and kids of all ages are encouraged to bring trick-or-treat bags and wear costumes! BARCStoberfest – Patterson Park, Baltimore Saturday, October 26th, 9:30 a.m. Bring your dog, your family, and your friends for a tail wagging good time! BARCStoberfest, Baltimore’s largest pet-friendly festival, has activities for everyone: a 5K run and one-mile walk, shopping market, beer garden, live music, dog-friendly yoga, food trucks, costume contests, and so much more.
