Red Sky at Night Gala & Auction – Annapolis Yacht Club, Annapolis Friday, May 31st, 6:30 p.m. Join the Leukemia Cup Regatta for its 2019 Red Sky at Night Gala, held at the new Annapolis Yacht Club. The evening will feature dinner, drinks, live music, a live and silent auction, and raffle. Bay Bridge Paddle – Sandy Point State Park, Annapolis Saturday, June 1st, 8 a.m. Water enthusiasts of all ages and expertise are invited to the Bay Bridge Paddle, open to stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and other paddle crafts. This race will bring together all levels of paddlers to share a day of camaraderie and fellowship. Each race will present a different experience and challenge. The bay’s shifting conditions add to the fun as racers can experience anything from flat water glides to gusty winds and unpredictable swell and tides from the wind and current. Annapolis Arts Week – Annapolis City Dock Saturday, June 1st through Saturday, June 8th The goal of Annapolis Arts Week is to present the arts community of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County throughout the region, focusing on a week-long celebration of the area’s artists and musicians. This event encompasses the wide-ranging artistic creativity in Annapolis. 4th Annual Herald Harbor 5K Run and Walk -Herald Harbor Park, Crownsville Saturday, June 1st, 9 a.m. Join Friends of Herald Harbor for its 4th Annual 5K Run and Walk. Proceeds benefit Friends of Herald Harbor Park and Community. 2019 Cape St. Claire Strawberry Festival – Cape St. Claire Firehouse, Annapolis Saturday, June 1st, 10 a.m. The Cape St. Claire Strawberry Festival is back again for its 61st year! This age-old event seems to become more and more popular each year. A day filled with a parade, music, food, games, crafters, contests, pony rides, K9 demos, a silent auction, and strawberries in many forms is on tap for this year’s festivities. Annapolis Leukemia Cup Regatta and Rock The Dock Party – Eastport Yacht Club, Annapolis Saturday, June 1st, 11 a.m. Help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at their annual Annapolis Leukemia Cup Regatta. Join over 90 boats as they “set sail to save lives” in Annapolis. After the race, head over to Eastport Yacht Club for the Annapolis Leukemia Cup Regatta Rock the Dock after party. Secret Garden Tour – Historic Hammond-Harwood House, Annapolis Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd, 12 p.m. The historic Hammond-Harwood House Secret Garden Tour features private gardens in the Historic District of Annapolis. The area between City Dock and Spa Creek holds architectural gems with stunning formal, quaint cottage and every manner of garden. Get Crooked Fest – Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, Crownsville Saturday, June 1st, 2 p.m. Crooked Crab Brewing Company and Oyster Recovery Partnership are excited to bring Get Crooked Fest to Anne Arundel County. This event will celebrate local music, local beer, and a local cause. First Sunday Arts Festival – West Street, Annapolis Sunday, June 2nd, 11 a.m. The First Sunday Arts festival returns to Annapolis. This monthly, free admission arts festival held on the first Sunday of each month, and is always a popular destination for art lovers and those wishing to purchase hand crafted goods made in the USA .This festival now features about 130 artisans, plus café dining, food trucks, farmers, and entertainment. Paint Annapolis – Downtown Annapolis Sunday, June 2nd through Sunday, June 9th Paint Annapolis is celebrating its 16th year with 29 distinguished artists from around the globe selected to paint en plein air throughout Maryland’s capital city. The artists will create 300 landscape works highlighting the special colonial architecture, marine atmosphere, and energy of Annapolis.

Strawberry Festival and Craft Show – St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, St. Michaels Saturday, June 1st, 9 a.m. Head over to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 1st for its annual Strawberry Festival and Craft Show. Local vendors will be displaying and selling a diverse variety of arts and crafts. Enjoy and purchase fresh produce, baked goods and, of course, strawberries. Youth Fishing Derby Fun Day – Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, Cambridge Saturday, June 1st, 9 a.m. Grab your fishing rod and head to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge for its 17th annual Youth Fishing Derby Fun Day. This free event offers a day of easy pond fishing for young people learning how to fish. Free loaner poles and bait will be available, and staff will be on hand to assist with casting, knot tying, and fishing. Maritime Day – Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels Saturday, June 1st, 10 a.m. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is hosting a new event this June, Maritime Day, to help celebrate both the start of its construction of a new Maryland Dove and, more generally, the traditions kept alive in its working shipyard. CBMM’s shipwrights and apprentices are a tangible connection to the Chesapeake’s rich story of boatbuilding, and this event invites the public to be a part of it. Shipwrights will give demonstrations of various maritime skills throughout the day, including steam bending mast hoops, shaping a dugout canoe, blacksmithing, and splicing. St. Michaels Brew Festival – Town of St. Michaels Saturday, June 1st, 11 a.m. The St. Michaels Brew Festival is back! Head to the city of St. Michaels for a day of food, music, and plenty of beer. Sample unlimited four-ounce pours of over 100 different beers from local, regional, and national breweries. Upgrade to VIP and enjoy a one-hour meet and greet cruise with the Founders Brewing Company. The event will also feature vendors and live music.

Taste of Three Cities Food Truck Festival – Patterson Park, Baltimore Saturday, June 1st, 12 p.m. The 8th Annual Taste of Three Cities returns, highlighting the best food trucks in the region. The Taste is the original Maryland Food Truck Festival and has been voted one of the Top 10 Festivals in Maryland for two years in a row.
