Rustic and casual or classic and chic? It seems as though there’s been an unspoken rule in the weddings industry for the past decade dictating that you have to choose either one or the other. If you’ve chosen a sleek and modern venue, people assume that mason jars and wildflowers will look out of place. Or, if you’ve chosen to have your reception in a barn, it must also mean that you want guests to wear cowboy boots with their suits.
But why can’t you choose both? Recently, more ides and grooms are choosing to eak out of wedding theme molds, blending them together in ways that fit their personal styles. A little fancy, a little country. A little sophistication, a little provincial. We like to call this rustic chic.
