At about the same time that New Year’s resolutions were being made, we were busy mailing out our biennial Leading Lawyers Peer Review survey forms to more than 1,500 attorneys who practice law on the Eastern Shore and/or Anne Arundel County. We would like to thank the many area attorneys who took the time and effort to fill out the official ballot and return it to us. (Only original ballots were accepted, no duplicates.) The ballots are all anonymous, or we would thank them individually.
A true peer review survey is a rarity in this day and age—most publications don’t take the time and trouble to do the large mailings and ballot tallying—which makes these results all the more meaningful. These are not “editors’ picks” or the result of limitless ballots from the general public.
