Gilda O. Karpouzian has been practicing for 20 years. She is an experienced litigator practicing in the areas of family law (divorce, alimony, separation agreements, child custody and support, guardianship, adoption), immigration, estate planning and administration, and bankruptcy. She has been named a Leading Lawyer in 2010-2011, 2014-2015, and 2016-2017.
Ms. Karpouzian will handle your legal matter with utmost care and competence and ensures that litigants’ rights are protected. She is regularly appointed by the Court as an advocate and/or independent investigator to protect the rights of disabled individuals. She is highly trained and a court-approved mediator.
Ms. Karpouzian is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law with dual degrees in Information Systems Management and Economics. She has served on the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland by appointment from the Court of Appeals and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, D.C., U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and Immigration Court.
