So the biggest football game of the year is finally here! Hopefully your team is in it to win it! But no matter the teams, the event is always a great opportunity to gather friends and make a party of it. May we suggest keeping it simple with grab-and-go options and by planning your menu with the help of some of our finest local caterers and grocers?
This approach means not only more time with friends, but less mess to clean after that last point is scored. But if you absolutely need to get your D-I-Y on, try the recipes you’ll find online here.
Our Menu

Kicking Things Off
Welcome guests and get everyone off on a good foot with a warm-you-up-on-the-inside treat. We chose apple cider with just a dash of bourbon and foamy head of whipped cream.
1st Down
The first things everyone looks for on the buffet table are the appetizer options. Impress guests with traditional treats like wings and skins, but have at least one item on hand that’s healthy and hearty like individual hummus cups teamed up with fresh veggie sticks.
The Hand-Off
Ever the gracious host, you know a pork slider or two makes for satisfying bites and serves up super easy, even in a crowd.
To Spike or Not to Spike?
While this is definitely an infraction as far as the football goes, you will want to save a generous amount of the plain cider you used for your shooters to serve later on its own with these taste-as-great-as-they-look glazed short ead cookies.
In the Huddle
Now it just wouldn’t be football without a whistle-wetting round of beers, and our locally ewed selections include everything from an orange Hefeweizen to a jalapeño IPA. Cheers, y’all!
Extra Point
Add a zesty bowl of vegetarian chili for guests and score big points with meatless options for your garden-only guests.
Special thanks to Whole Foods Market, Main & Market, Julie St. Marie, Broadneck Grill & Cantina, Fishpaws Marketplace, Jail eak Brewing Company, and Clough'D 9 Cookies & Sweets for providing our menu items.
