The Baltimore Ravens returned to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis for the first time since 2014 in the second of three public training camp practices.
Even though stars like Joe Flacco, Terrell Suggs and Jeremy Maclin didn't make the trip, some of the newest members of the purple and black participated in practice in front of more than 10,000 fans, including Danny Woodhead, Tony Jefferson and first-round pick Marlon Humphrey.
Saturday also marked the return of former Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds, who oke the FBS record for career touchdowns with 88 in 2015. Reynolds and current Ravens teammate, former Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon, jockeyed for position of that record on a weekly basis during a memorable season that saw the Midshipmen have its best season in program history with an 11-2 record.
Reynolds was drafted by Baltimore in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and is trying to make it in the NFL as a wide receiver/kick returner. He spent most of last season on the team's practice squad.
"It felt like Saturday game day," Reynolds said when asked about his feelings walking onto the field. "I had to calm down warming up. I didn't want to get too crazy, get gassed before practice even started."
The Ravens host the Washington Redskins on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium in their first preseason game of the season before holding their final public training camp practice on Saturday, August 12 at 10 a.m. at M&T Bank Stadium.
