The event has grown over the years so more space was needed, according to Aaren Collins, Executive Director at the Berlin, Maryland Chamber of Commerce.
The day begins with a pancake eakfast with the Easter Bunny at Raynes Reef Restaurant at 8:30 a.m. Starting at 11 a.m., children can take part in workshops, Jolly Rogers rides, face painting, pony rides and an Easter egg hunt. The day concludes with an Easter Bonnet and Mad Hatter Parade that begins at 3:00 p.m.
New this year will be the Egg Drop, where kids have five minutes to make a box entrapment packed with different materials containing an uncooked egg. From there, the kids will drop the egg from the top of the balcony.
What makes the Spring Cele ation so special?
“The town,” Collins said. “The town and the atmosphere that we create with these events. We like for everyone to enjoy and spend their money on our merchants and keep our town thriving so we can have more of these.”
