I love looking at time weathered books, with own owbeaten pages and the scent of must. However, I don't particularly enjoy reading them. In fact, I spent a lot of college avoiding literature classes; hence, a major in communication as opposed to English. So, tonight, I am about to get schooled. I'm attending opening night of Crime and Punishment at CenterStage in Baltimore. It's based, of course, on the classic by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I know this because I looked it up on Wikipedia. Here's hoping I come home with a greater appreciation for "great" literature. You may even find me at the downtown Annapolis li ary picking through the stacks. Watch for a full review of the performance later this week.
