The Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival is thrilled to announce its 34th annual celebration, and we are excited to host the festival at a new venue: the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (Blue Lot) in Annapolis. This year’s festival promises to be a vibrant and unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages.

Join us for a day filled with cultural enrichment and community spirit as we showcase an eclectic lineup of activities and performances. The festival will feature:

We are thrilled to announce our stellar headlining performers for the Main Stage, including:
- **Keke Wyatt:** (RnB) The acclaimed American singer-songwriter Rnb Diva and television personality will headline this year’s festival with her captivating vocals and dynamic stage presence.
- **Round of Applause Ft The Original Members of CCB:** (Go-Go) Critical Condition Band is a popular Go-Go band that has performed throughout the Washington, D.C.-Metropolitan area for nearly 20 years. Its hit song, “Phatty,” recently went viral on TikTok, trending nationally amongst celebrities and fans.
- **Brandon Woody’s Upendo:** (Jazz) Experience the innovative and soulful jazz sounds of Brandon Woody and his ensemble.

KKHF is a free, fun, family-friendly festival catering to all ages. The Children’s Activity Tent will have fun and educational activities presented by the Chesapeake Children's Museum and Sankofa Children's Museum of African Cultures. Three performance areas include the Memorial Stage near the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial, the Community Stage with engaging and informational talks and demos, and the Main Stage with a range of musical acts like gospel, funk, Jazz, R&B, and Go-Go.
The mission of KKHF is to produce an educational, inspiring, and entertaining experience that not only preserves but also celebrates the culture of the African Diaspora. Festival goers can expect live performances at two (2) performance areas: Main Stage, Community Stage.
