Chesapeake Charities hosts an annual Celebration of Charity honoring exceptional volunteers, philanthropists, advocates and nonprofits in the Chesapeake Bay region who have had a profound impact on the community. This year we are pleased to honor Maryland’s Watermen and Seafood Industry.

This year’s deserving awardees are:

• Advocate of the Year – JACK BROOKS, J.M. Clayton Company

• Nonprofit of the Year – OYSTER RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP

• Philanthropist of the Year – STEVE PHILLIPS, Phillips Seafood

• Volunteer of the Year – JEFF HARRISON
