15pm Annapolis Science Café at 49 West: “Restoring Maryland’s Ecological Capital”, by Claudia H. Donegan, Director of the Center for Habitat Restoration and Conservation, Chesapeake & Coastal Service, MD Dep’t of Natural Resources, and Kevin M. Smith Executive Director, Maryland Coastal Bays Program.
Like many east coast states, Maryland ‘s natural resources have been so severely altered and modified that most of our natural areas only provide a fraction of the ecological services that they once did. We will explore opportunities and highlight attempts and methodologies to restore our resources and regain the ecologic capital that once existed here in the Old Line State. We hope you will come to the Annapolis Science Café at 49 West in person, but zoom info is available too; if interested in zoom or other questions, email annapoliscafesci@gmail.com . You may reserve seats for this event at 49 West by calling 410-626-9796. The event is free but you need to buy something from the restaurant.
