Marylanders have spent A LOT of time at home over the past 18 months— a lot of time to stare at the living room, kitchen, and backyard and wonder what it COULD be, with the right expertise.
Luckily, the Fall Maryland Home & Garden Show has returned: Friday, October 15 through Sunday, October 17 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
Exhibitors in more than 400 booths will be on hand with thousands of ideas. Whether you need to spruce up those well-used spaces, are ready for a complete remodel, or want to get your home ready for the holidays, you’ll find the experts and advice you need for inside and out.
Did you know fall is a great time to install your new backyard landscape? The region’s most talented designers will be showing off the latest outdoor trends in patio gardens, complete with dining areas and water features. Start now and it can be waiting for you in the spring!
The show’s special guest will be HGTV and DIY network star Jeff Devlin who will show guests how to “Remodel Like a Pro – 3 Steps Every Homeowner Should Know.” Jeff will break down the process of remodeling into three phases – Inspiration, Planning, and Budget.
Jeff will also host the Maryland Home & Garden Show’s first-ever Home Improvement Olympics sponsored by Home Depot! Attendees will compete in a series of DIY challenges, showing off their skills hammering nails and racing belt sanders. Top finishers will earn their place on the podium for well-deserved glory, complete with medals and the national anthem sung by the award-winning Chorus of the Chesapeake.
The Chorus of the Chesapeake will perform favorite songs in four-part acapella each day at 1:30 p.m., as well.
With the holidays around the corner, visitors can shop over 125 juried craft artists at the Maryland Fall Craft Show to find a unique gift for a friend, family member, or themselves! And Maryland wineries will offer FREE tastings with bottles available for purchase.
