Hanging of the Green

Join us as we decorate downtown Annapolis for the Holiday season! It is an annual tradition for the Jaycees of Annapolis to decorate storefronts of local downtown businesses with lighted garland and wreaths. We separate into teams and work together to hang greens that will light up Annapolis at night.

Currently, our plan is to use Market House (25 Market Place, Annapolis MD) as the meeting location.

PARKING AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Calvert Street Garage is free on weekends, but is about a 10min walk from the downtown area. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is located right downtown, but does charge for parking.

Make sure to dress warmly, bring/wear gloves because you will be handling fresh greenery and nails/wires. Don't forget hats and other warm clothing, as well as any beverages of your choice to keep you warm throughout the day.

We will also have pizzas provided downtown mid-day!
