"The Last Time" a play in two acts written by local playwright Kathy Jones, is being debuted at Chesapeake College Cadby Theatre in November. The play is an honest portrayal of a family impacted by a diagnosis of dementia. The story focuses on the struggles families face in accepting and coping with a life-changing diagnosis in very individual ways. Jones explains that she wrote the play in honor of all those who are doing the difficult job of caregiving. Directed by Michael Whitehill, the play features familiar actors from the mid-shore as well as newcomers to the stage.

The Saturday matinee will feature a talk-back after the show with the cast and author as well as representatives from Compass Hospice, Dept. of Aging and For All Seasons. Proceeds from the Saturday matinee will benefit Compass Hospice.
