As we all know, scheduled opening dates are never set in stone. As such, I have another restaurant update for you. Brasserie Brightwell, an Easton restaurant owned by others-in-law Brendan Keegan and Brian Fox, was scheduled to open mid-October. However, I just spoke to a PR rep for the restaurant, who let me know that the opening date has been pushed back to early November.

For those who haven't heard of this latest venture from Keegan and Fox, the owners of 208 Talbot in St. Michaels, Brasserie Brightwell will be a "cozy, casual, and affordable 120-seat French asserie with an American flair and unique ambiance." It will offer both contemporary and classic French and American cuisine, plus a full bar.
