I'm always looking for fun things to do that don't cost too much. After all, no matter what your income level, who doesn't like to get a good deal? The Melting Pot seems to have some deals for couples, beer-lovers and gal pals.
For couples
Share chocolate fondue and some after-dinner drinks for only $22 per person. This special is available from 8-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9:30-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. $22 gets you chocolate fondue for two and two drinks. I don't know about you, but this sounds like a great end to a date. Go out to dinner, maybe talk a walk by the bay and then held to The Melting Pot for drinks and dessert.
For beer-lovers
On Sept. 15, The Melting Pot is pairing up with Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware for a special dinner. It starts at 6:30 and cost $49.95 per person for a four-course meal paired with four beers, plus possibly one beer before dinner begins (details haven't quite been worked out yet.)
For gal pals
Every first and third Monday of the month, gather the girls for a Girl's Night Out. For $30 each, you get a cheese fondue, a salad, a petit entree and a chocolate fondue. You should probably make reservations for this one.
