Dixon now has 36 career 2-pointers, eaking the previous league record of 33 that was held by former Bridgeport/Philadelphia Barrage midfielder Roy Colsey. Dixon also scored three 2-pointers during the game to tie the Major League Lacrosse all-time record in that category. The veteran is the eighth player in MLL history with three 2-point goals in a single game.

“Dixon's first record was a testament to his longevity and talent,” Bayhawks head coach Dave Cottle said. “His accomplishments in this league are impressive. If Kyle’s first 2-pointer hadn’t hit the pipe, he may have oken the 2-point goals in a single game record. It has been evident to me since the beginning of the season that Kyle would be great. He has been practicing hard and he is highly motivated.”
r
Breaking the 100th career goal plateau, Dixon now boasts 102 career goals. The All-Star midfielder is also the league’s leading scorer with 13 points this season, and posted the sixteenth ten-point game in MLL history.
